“We started as airbnb hosts of our granny flat on the Gold Coast, Australia in early 2023. We first started hosting so to pay the mortgage with all the interest rate hikes of post Covid. To our surprise we actually liked it. Not only for the money but also for the joy of human connections and finding it positive and meaningful. Having a software engineer in house, and with all the hype and potentials of AI, we thought to give it a shot and create a service to improve the hosting experience for ourselves and other hosts in Australia.
